Hi, Mollie here!

Zoe has a beautiful way with words that strategically support the creative projects we bring to life on the daily. She radiates positivity and her smile is truly infectious.

Without further ado, let’s get to know Zoe!

Name: Zoe Vossen
Title: Editorial Manager
Instagram: @zoe.vossen
Astrological Sign: Aries
Enneagram: 7 – Enthusiast & 2 – Helper

1. What does an average day look like for you?

I wake up and my resuce pup, Cooper, is ready for some fresh air. I start some coffee and head out for a quick run (thanks to my 5K Runner app). Get back, drink said coffee, and get to work. Usually, that starts with responding to emails and preparing any editorial content that goes live that day. From there, each day looks a bit different! Sometimes it’s giving tours of our studio, conducting interviews for blog content, managing guest writers, supporting creative projects, or brainstorming upcoming content. We have some exciting things coming up!

2. What is something that might surprise people about you?

I have a few fun facts!

  • I was born in Ancorage, Alaska
  • I have broken 8 bones in my life
  • I taught myself guitar when I was 10-years-old and have never stopped playing

3. The LAB team is currently working remotely. What does your WFH station look like?

I have taken over our dining room table. There is a ton of natural light so it’s a very lovely place to be. It is centrally located in our apartment and usually acts as a “catch-all”…as pictured below. You see my fiance’s hat, some random restaurant promotional piece, a cookbook, and a dying aloe plant. I always burn a candle and listen to some music…it’s a really nice place to work. 🙂

4. What is your favorite form of self-care?

Therapy! I have almost hit my 1 year anniversary and I can see drastic improvements in my mental health. It’s the not-so-glamorous side of self-care that is incredibly important to honor. Setting boundaries, inner-child work, and symbolic therapy are a few things that keep me feeling level. HOWEVER! I am a HUGE fan of treating myself to a good facial, acupuncture, mani/pedi, or massage. Also, never ever underestimate the healing powers of a walk.

5. What are a few of your favorite local businesses to follow on social media?

@labmpls @witanddelight_ @foxhomes @foxwellshoppe @parcshop and all my friends who post pictures of them being happy and doing things they love. 🙂

6. Outside of work, what do you like to do for fun?

I am learning to cook and love to host my friends for dinner and board games. Otherwise, I am usually reading, playing with my dog, beating my fiance, Jordan in cribbage, FaceTiming my family, walking to parks, watering my plants, watching skincare videos on youtube, browsing/adding clothes to a cart that I know I will never actually purchase or some silly home project.
