Meet the LAB Team: Amy Berry Boes

Over the years, LAB has grown in unimaginable ways and Amy has been there through it all. She is our go-to person for all things web and SEO and her aesthetic is truly one-of-a-kind.

1. What does an average day look like for you?
First order of business, coffee. Throw on my work uniform (aka sweats, don't judge!) Then, I'm all set to work through the day in my home office. My favorite days are the ones when I'm working on big juicy creative projects — hovering over Pinterest boards and bringing brands to life by creating websites for small businesses, all while utilizing the incredible concepts that the LAB team creates! In the evening, it's yoga sculpt at The Firm, dinner, and of course Netflix bingeing well into the night (no shame here.)
2. What is something that might surprise people about you?
I'm an introvert in large social settings and in public, but a definite extrovert within my close friend groups. Just ask them, they'll tell you. :) Oh, also worth noting, I'm really good at parallel parking.
3. The LAB team is currently working remotely. What does your WFH station look like?
My home office is where I spend most of my time. My husband also works from home, so sometimes we work side-by-side keeping each other company throughout the day. This was our lifestyle even before Covid-19! In the office, leather chairs, open shelving with trinkets from near and far, and of course natural lighting is always a must. I usually have a candle or palo santo burning which gives all the vibes. And lastly, I can't forget about the *chic* cat tree for my feline co-workers. (Disclaimer, I swear I'm not a crazy cat lady.)
4. What is your favorite form of self-care?
Slow Saturday mornings accompanied by coffee, a facemask, and a good novel (likely about some tragic foreign star-crossed lovers.) I'm also a sucker for a good facial!

6. Outside of work, what do you like to do for fun?
I'm quick to answer with travel! I'm rarely in town on a weekend. ;) I'm SO looking forward to starting back up with international trips!
