Minnesota Give Back: Pennant Style

BY EMMA GEARY - DECEMBER 28 2021

It's the season of giving, and our team is coming off of a Hydda-Way high. We had so much fun telling the stories of over thirty local brands in our cabin at The Northern Express, and we want to keep the local goodness going with an exciting opportunity to give back.

One of the most-asked questions we received in our cabin was, "Are these pennants for sale?" We had these custom-made for the event by a friend of our team, (special thanks to @thrifty_sewing!) so these beauties are one-of-a-kind and not available at any retail locations. We created these to highlight the five pillars of Lykke that were the driving forces behind each of the vignettes in our cabin. But now that our time at the Hydda-Way is passed, we're ready to share these adorable custom pieces with our community!

So in short, YES! We are selling these beloved pennants with a unique idea to give back to local nonprofits. By purchasing a pennant you will be supporting a local organization that we have selected that complements the intention of the banners - 100% of what you pay will be donated to that organization. So not only do you get an adorable banner, but you are supporting a local organization in doing so!

How it works: we'll be selling these pennants on Instagram starting at 12 pm CST on 12/29 for $200 per pennant. The money from each sale will be directly donated by LAB on your behalf to the mentioned local nonprofit organization. Read about the incredible charities we're supporting with each pennant below.

The fine print: Each pennant measures 3ft wide by 5ft long, and is made of craft felt. The letters and borders are stitched on. The include a wooden dowel for easy hanging. They will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, send us a DM on Instagram with your Pennant choice, name, email and phone number. We will send you an email with a link to pay within 24 hours along with Pennant pickup coordination. Each pennant will be marked “sold” once purchased below.

GET OUTSIDE

Nonprofit Supported: Friends of The Boundary Waters Wilderness

In the spirit of being outside, we want to keep the great outdoors great. Since 1978, Friends of The Boundary Waters Wilderness is on a mission to protect, preserve and restore the wilderness character of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness and Quetico-Superior ecosystem.

They believe deeply (as do we!) in helping the next generation fall in love with the wilderness as a way to evoke change and preservation for years to come.
