Now Open: Fawkes Alley Coffee

The moment is finally here and we are bursting with excitement! Fawkes Alley Coffee is officially open in Loring Park and is truly fueled by good vibes.
This coffee shop came to life when the crew behind Fustal Society, a free youth sports league that primarily serves young adults in underrepresented communities recognized a need in the community. Together with the help of fellow Loring Corners tenants and a network of support, Fawkes Alley came to life space for both community gathering and youth employment.
Almost everything — including rent, utilities, construction, and marketing — has been gifted by the building's owner, Alex, fellow tenants, and friends. Alex estimates that over $100,000 in labor and services has been donated thus far to bring Fawkes Alley to life. It’s yet another reminder that we truly are better together.
More than just a coffee shop, Fawkes Alley Coffee is a haven for exceptional espresso, crave-worthy pastries from 86 Pastries, and a dedication to making a difference through youth empowerment and employment. Stroll down one of the most picturesque alleyways in Minneapolis, sip your coffee in Loring Park, or take a short walk over to the Walker Sculpture Garden.
LAB is proud to have created the branding and marketing behind Fawkes Alley Coffee, and you can be sure to catch us grabbing a drink in our favorite alleyway every time we’re in the office. Or you’ll catch us picking up a monster cookie after lunch. Or maybe…both!
Even more exciting: we’ve created a specialty menu item to add even more local love. Meet the LAB Latte: an iced lavender latte with a honey cold foam, created with locally sourced honey. It’s already a team favorite for its floral, sweet notes, and we’ll be sipping LAB Lattes all season long.
While Fawkes Alley Coffee is open 7 days a week, join us on Thursday, August 24th for a grand opening celebration with specials all day long. Cheers to caffeinating with a cause!
